About the Attorney

“From the earliest age, competition and the desire to succeed has motivated me. A three-time Georgia State BMX Champion, a Southeastern National Champion, being Nationally and Worldly ranked, taught me how to succeed at the highest level. As a Little League All-Star Quarterback, I began developing leadership skills to assist me later in life. Nevertheless, even at the young age of thirteen, I knew I wanted to be an attorney when I grew up.

Having graduated from high school with honors, I continued my studies at Valdosta State University. One of my most memorable endeavors was participating in the Model United Nations program as a delegate and taking home individual honors. Additionally, I was part of a team to win the highest nominated award at the Atlanta Conventions, while competing against thirty-two other universities. It was the first in the history of Valdosta State University that this award was obtained.

Graduating from college Cum Laude, I attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. There I began to hone my skills as a practitioner. I participated in an internship with the Nassau County Public Defender’s Office and worked as an intern in a Fernandina Beach-based law firm.

Having owned my own practice since 2003, I continue to evolve and mature as an attorney, an entrepreneur, and as a father. The struggles in my life help to mold the attorney I have become today. From life-threatening medical mishaps to seeing my children’s birth, I have experienced quite a lot.

I understand the difficulties that a legal case can bring. I, too, have been divorced. I, too, have been a single parent trying to work and parent a child simultaneously. However, the strength and knowledge gained from those most trying times have helped me when advising and counseling clients. Clients often feel alone when going through a legal proceeding, especially a divorce. Having experienced those same emotions that my clients have faced has helped guide them through the process both legally and emotionally.”
